Tarbiyatul Islamiyah dan Pendidikan Moral di Perguruan Tinggi Islam: Suatu Kerangka Konseptual Integratif dari Konteks Indonesia

Abstract
Moral education is a strategic challenge for Islamic universities in the era of globalization and digital transformation. This research aims to develop an integrative conceptual framework of Tarbiyatul Islamiyah for strengthening student moral education. The method used is conceptual research with a qualitative approach based on systematic literature analysis from international and national journals as well as scientific books related to moral education, character education, and Islamic education. The analysis is carried out through a thematic synthesis that identifies key dimensions, compares key concepts, and integrates findings into a conceptual framework. The results of the study show that Tarbiyatul Islamiyah consists of four interrelated dimensions: internalization of faith-based values, exemplary educators (uswah hasanah), moral habituation through educational practices, and institutional moral ecology. These four-dimensional interactions form a holistic moral education cycle, allowing students to not only understand ethical values, but also internalize and practice them consistently. These findings affirm the importance of an integrative approach that combines spiritual, pedagogical, behavioral, and institutional dimensions to create a sustainable ecosystem of moral education in Islamic universities.
Pendidikan moral menjadi tantangan strategis bagi perguruan tinggi Islam di era globalisasi dan transformasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kerangka konseptual integratif Tarbiyatul Islamiyah untuk penguatan pendidikan moral mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian konseptual dengan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis analisis literatur sistematis dari jurnal internasional dan nasional serta buku ilmiah terkait pendidikan moral, pendidikan karakter, dan pendidikan Islam. Analisis dilakukan melalui sintesis tematik yang mengidentifikasi dimensi utama, membandingkan konsep kunci, dan mengintegrasikan temuan ke dalam kerangka konseptual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tarbiyatul Islamiyah terdiri atas empat dimensi saling terkait: internalisasi nilai berbasis iman, keteladanan pendidik (uswah hasanah), pembiasaan moral melalui praktik pendidikan, dan ekologi moral institusional. Interaksi keempat dimensi ini membentuk siklus pendidikan moral yang holistik, memungkinkan mahasiswa tidak hanya memahami nilai etis, tetapi juga menginternalisasi dan mempraktikkannya secara konsisten. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan integratif yang menggabungkan dimensi spiritual, pedagogis, perilaku, dan institusional untuk menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan moral yang berkelanjutan di perguruan tinggi Islam.
